Our story

Twofold started as a household project. Then it had to name twins.

The app that figured out my wife’s vibe.

When we were expecting our first son, she could veto any baby name in under three seconds. The books and generic apps felt like a slot machine: swipe a vintage name you love, then get Bartholomew. They didn’t learn. We wasted hours on names we already hated.

I’m a data person. We didn’t need a longer list. We needed an app that could read the room. So I built one for us.

Swipe a few times, and Twofold adapts. It quietly leans the deck toward the style you actually like — classic, short, earthy, modern — and filters out the rest. It is a personal name matchmaker, not a random grab bag.

No. It is twin-first, not twin-only. Single mode is the default deck for naming one baby. Twin mode is there when you want sibling pairs that sound right together.
